The coast is a resource rich part of any land, and while we tend to exploit its bounty, much can be done to make it socially and environmentally sustainable while maximising its economic value. The Coastal Social Innovation Village Project is a proof-of-concept, and one of a kind project that brings together the stakeholders of Muara Gembong, such as government bodies, NGOs, local businesses, community and social groups as well as citizens, to pool resources and social capital to design and execute multi-disciplinary social innovation projects for multiple-bottom-line outcomes.
